WEB MAP PRINTING WITH GEOEXT
Abstract
There is more to printing maps than using the browser's Print button. What if you need large paper formats for plotting or a map that is not North-up? This is where the MapFish print module comes in handy, which generates PDF documents and is now also available as a GeoServer extension. GeoExt provides several convenience classes and widgets to create rich printing dialogs. This talk will not only show how to create printable PDFs with different dialogs, but also take a look at the modular architecture of printing in GeoExt.
