Title

COLLABORATIVE TOOLS IN IDEANDALUCÍA

Abstract

The Andalusian Spatial Data Infrastructure  has incorporated new open source applications that allow to the non technical users to produce spatial information, to publish them in Internet and to embed it into his own web pages or social networks. The central piece of these tools is the call "Creomapas" ( I make maps) that allows the remote edition of geographical information - on screen or by means of KML - and the storage in a database to be published as a standard web map service. Creomapas allows to be used like a embed viewer and as an application in order that any user creates and publishes his own information, from the Internet servers that IDEAndalucía provides to him. Thus the preferences of the users for geographical information are known better.
