GEO GRID SYSTEM BASED ON OGC FRAMEWORK FOR E-SCIENCE: CASE STUDY AIR TEMPERATURE AND MODIS LST  

Abstract

 This presentation discusses the key features of the second version of MapChat, which more effectively uses AJAX with a server-side API, SVG/VML graphics, and a modular design.  Since the project began, it has been used as a PPGIS tool in six different case studies.  The experience gained from these case studies is summarized, emphasizing the benefits of the tool for PPGIS research.
